Bones fall finale sneak peek

The first hour of Thursday’s two-part Bones fall finale is an undercover romp, but as this clip from the second hour proves, that fun is not meant to last.

In this exclusive sneak peek at the episode, the team is called in for what looks like a routine body find. Cam (Tamara Taylor) deflects a few comments from Aubrey (John Boyd) and Hodgins (TJ Thyne) about her fledgling relationship, then figures out the victim’s sex and age by looking at his ear, so it’s all business as usual. But what’s in the victim’s pocket will have potentially deadly consequences for them all.

Bones co-showrunner and executive producer Michael Peterson tells EW that the hour is a “game-changer,” warning, “Don’t leave the episode early. It’s a shocker from beginning to end.”

The two-part fall finale of Bones kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
