The Muppets clip: Mindy Kaling can't sing in winter finale

In the upcoming winter finale of The Muppets, Kermit and company prepare for the annual holiday special of “Up Late with Miss Piggy,” featuring guest star Mindy Kaling. Unfortunately, they run into some problems, including the fact that Kaling — who’s doing a duet with Piggy — can’t sing.

In a line that could have been delivered by Miss Piggy, Kaling is quick to blame others for her lackluster performance. “What is going on with the band?” she asks Kermit in the clip. “I love the band. I love their energy. I love their little outfits. But I think they’re bad. They couldn’t follow me. I mean, it’s not my fault. I can sing. I sing all the time, and the people who work for me tell me I’m amazing.”
