Julianne Moore is ready to get Wonderstruck.

The actress is reteaming with Far From Heaven and Safe director Todd Haynes for a big-screen adaptation of the children’s novel by Brian Selznick, EW has confirmed.

Published in 2011, Wonderstruck tells the intertwining stories of two deaf children from different time periods — one from 1927, the other from 1977 — who both run away to New York City. Details of Moore’s role have yet to be revealed.

Selznick, whose book The Invention of Hugo Cabret was made by Martin Scorsese as Hugo, wrote the Wonderstruck screenplay himself.

Moore won an Oscar earlier this year for her performance in Still Alice, recently appeared in Freeheld, and will next be seen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2. Haynes is currently on the awards-season campaign trail with his romantic drama Carol, starring Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett.

Deadline first reported Moore’s casting.
