The Muppets airs Tuesday nights and premiered as one of fall’s top new shows, but like many this season has fallen a notable amount since then (the show is averaging about 7.6 million viewers and a 2.6 rating among adults 18–49 with DVR). ABC picked up the comedy for a “full season,” but the network defining is a full season in this case as 16 episodes, lower than the usual 22.
