Live At EW Fest: Desmin Borges has an idea for 'You're The Worst' season 3

You’re the Worst star Desmin Borges stopped by the first-ever EW Fest on Saturday afternoon in New York to screen an episode of the FXX comedy, and tease one idea he has for the show’s possible third season.

“I want to go to Cuba. Sunday Funday in Cuba,” Borges said. The show will return to the Sunday Funday conceit that worked so well during season 1 for its episode next week, a Halloween-themed affair. But how would it work to have the show go to Cuba? “Maybe as a fever dream. Edgar gets kidnapped, and taken there and they have to find him,” Borges said. “Plus it would deb a great excuse to go to Cuba before Donald Trump puts up $2 billion in hotels.”

While the show hasn’t been renewed for a third season just yet, Borges said its fans are a passionate group. “I get the coolest thing,” he said about being recognized on the street. “It’s like, ‘Yo! You’re the worst.’ And then a high-five, and they just keep on walking. So I don’t know if they’ve seen the show or they just think I’m not a good person. But that’s my favorite.”
