Blumhouse is venturing into new territory with its next feature: a supernatural love story. The horror production company will test these new waters with a strong couple leading the way in Lee Pace and Carrie Coon (Gone Girl), EW confirmed.

The Keeping Hours details two parents whose lives deteriorate after their son dies in a car crash. Ten years later, they attempt to reconcile even after they’ve moved on with their lives, professionally and personally. Soap opera actress-turned-director Karen Moncrieff (The Trial of Cate McCall) will helm the project, set from Rebecca Sonnenshine’s script.

Pace is one of the leads of the acclaimed AMC show Halt and Catch Fire, which was recently renewed for a third season. Coon stars in The Leftovers at HBO, but also had a small role in last year’s Gone Girl but was a stand out as the caring yet straight-talking Margo Dunne, the sister of accused murderer Nick (Ben Affleck).
