Blacklisted by the film industry after being summoned before Congress and being accused of communism, screenwriter Dalton Trumbo was prevented from continuing his successful career in the 1940s. So in the new trailer for the film based on his life, Bryan Cranston, as Trumbo, decides to do the only thing he knows how despite being told not to: he’s going to work.

The newly released international trailer for the film showcases Trumbo’s rise, fall, and then second, more secretive ascension, penning films under a different name to produce award-winning screenplays. And Cranston’s portrayal is surrounded by an all-star cast including Diane Lane, John Goodman, Louis C.K., and more in a film directed by Jay Roach and written by John McNamara based on Bruce Cook’s book.

Trumbo arrives in theaters on Nov. 6.
