There are a lot of good things about J.K. Rowling being on Twitter. Sometimes she shares new details about the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie. Sometimes she shuts down Serena Williams-hating trolls. And other times she uses Twitter to debunk fan theories about time travel and werewolves.

A few days ago, Rowling fact-checked a few Harry Potter fan theories, beginning with whether or not Dumbledore is actually an older, time-traveling version of Ron. (Nope.)

She also addressed another theory that Draco Malfoy is a werewolf. (Nope again.) For good measure, she also dismissed a persistent theory that Snape is actually a vampire. (It does make a lot of sense, what with the all-black wardrobe, the pale skin, and all the bat-like comparisons… But nope.)

And finally, she answered a very important question about the scent of Snape.
