Robyn announced Friday that she will not be able to perform with La Bagatelle Magique, a recent project she partnered with keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and the late Christian Falk for, anytime in the near future.

“It was much harder singing these songs on stage than I thought,” she wrote in a statement. “Even though it’s been a year since Christian passed, I’m heartbroken and performing them feels too heavy still. I’m sorry to disappoint the fans that have bought tickets to these shows and I will do my best to come back to San Francisco and Brazil soon.”

Robyn first teased La Bagatelle Magique in May and they went on to drop their first track, “Love is Free,” in June before dropping Love is Free the album in August. They recently performed in Sweden, but will no longer be performing at Brazil’s Rock in Rio Festival and San Francisco’s Treasure Island Music Festival. Read the full note over at Robyn’s website.
