Michelle Obama is hitting the runway. Project Runway Junior, that is.
Lifetime has announced that the First Lady will appear on the inaugural season of the show, which is a spinoff of the original Lifetime competition series focused on young designers aged 13 to 17.
Obama will appear in the Dec. 10 episode to present a challenge in support of Let Girls Learn, an initiative to help adolescent girls stay in school.
Tim Gunn will mentor and co-host Project Runway Junior along with supermodel Hannah Davis. Kelly Osbourne, designer Christian Siriano and magazine editor Aya Kanai will serve as judges, with a guest appearance from Bella Thorne in the final challenge episode on Feb. 4
Project Runway Junior will premiere on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
