Parenthood star Peter Krause has picked his next project. EW has learned the actor has been cast as a series regular in Shonda Rhimes’ upcoming new drama series The Catch.

The Catch is a thriller following fraud investigator Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos) who’s about to be the victim of fraud herself by her fiancé. Between her cases, she is determined to find him before it ruins her career. Krause has been cast as Kieran Booth, “a successful, long-time con man who lives the good life with other people’s money. He’s the best at what he does, but we have to wonder if he’s met his match in Alice Vaughan.”

Krause had his choice of roles after NBC’s Parenthood following six seasons on the air. He previously starred in Sports Night, Six Feet Under and Dirty Sexy Money.

The Catch, which is expected to debut in the first half of 2016, will mark Rhimes’ fourth drama currently on ABC, joining hits Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder.
