Leighton Meester's Lovefool cover is delightful

Leighton Meester said goodbye to her days of playing Blair Waldorf long ago, and has been busy promoting her 2014 album, Heartstrings, performing on Broadway in Of Mice and Men and touring like mad. While on the road, the former Gossip Girl joined the A.V. Club’s video series, A.V. Undercover, to sing her version of the 1996 hit “Lovefool” by The Cardigans. Meester covered the track while on tour this year, and, as you can see in the video below, she’s mastered it.
