Bill Murray is getting his own Netflix Christmas special

Netflix is giving subscribers the best gift of all come December: A Christmas special starring Bill Murray, titled A Very Murray Christmas.

Murray, Sofia Coppola (who most recently directed and wrote 2013’s The Bling Ring), and Mitch Glazer are writing the script, and Coppola will also be directing. Murray will play a version of himself whose TV show gets interrupted when a snow storm hits New York, causing him to fret that no one will show up. (Sounds familiar.)

But plenty of people do show up: The cast so far is a laundry list of big names including George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, the band Phoenix, Rashida Jones, and Miley Cyrus.

A Very Murray Christmas will arrive on Netflix in December. Watch a melancholy teaser for the show below.
