Here’s the scariest trailer of the day: The Visit, a horror thriller from director M. Night Shyamalan that imagines what happens when a pair of kids goes to visit their grandparents on a remote Pennsylvania farm. Peter McRobbie and Deanna Dunagan play the grandparents, who warn their kin against venturing outside the bedroom after 9:30 p.m. That’s seemingly good advice, as mysterious behavior, disconcerting threats and all-around terror awaits. Shyamalan, whose last film was the critically derided After Earth, wrote and directed The Visit. Look for it in theaters on Sept. 11.
