Dwayne Johnson, USA Network partner on new unscripted series

USA Network has officially announced its 2015/2016 development slate with nine scripted dramas, including the previously announced Shooter, which will serve as a TV adaptation of both Stephen Hunter’s book Point of Impact, and the 2007 film starring Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg is on board to executive produce.

USA also announced that it is partnering with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on an “alternative development” project that is not yet titled. Johnson and Dany Garcia will develop and executive produce the unscripted television series, which comes from their production company, 7 Bucks Production.

Finally, the network announced a pilot pick-up for Falling Water, a thriller from writers and co-creators Blake Masters and the late Henry Bromell. Check out the rest of USA’s slate here.
