The long wait for Mortal Kombat X is almost over, and Warner Bros. has released a launch trailer to tease the mayhem and carnage that awaits.

Mortal Kombat X‘s ever-growing roster of fighters isn’t just for playing competitively with friends on the couch or stranger online—the game comes with a full-fledged (and crazy) story mode. The new trailer offers a glimpse at what players can expect from some of the campaign’s wildest moments, along with some of the brutal moves and finishers players can employ in the game.

The launch trailer’s soundtrack will also sound quite familiar, as it’s all set to System of a Down’s “Chop Suey.” And there’s a reason for that: System’s own Shavo Odadjian directed the trailer.

Watch the trailer below, along with a behind the scene look at Odadjian’s work on the trailer. Mortal Kombat X releases April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and iOS and Android sometime this month. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will release later this year.
