It looks like everyone’s favorite multi-ethnic, biological, and foster-mixed family will be back in our homes again next year, as ABC Family announced today that its original drama series, The Fosters, has been renewed for a third season.

“We are thrilled to be making more episodes of The Fosters–a show that has not only garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards but resonates with our passionate and committed audience,” Karey Burke, ABC Family’s executive vice president of programming and development, said in a statement to EW.

The drama follows the lives of the members of the Foster family, made up of two mothers and their mix of both biological and foster children.

The series, which is executive produced by Jennifer Lopez and stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci, and Cierra Ramirez, has been honored with both a Television Academy Honors Award and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Along with this announcement came the news that ABC Family will be picking up a new unscripted series, Job or No Job.

The show, coming from the producers of Undercover Boss, will focus on one young adult each episode while they attempt to land their first job. Each applicant will go on three interviews, as the audience waits to see whether the contestant will land any offers.

“’Job or No Job’is also an important addition to our growing reality slate that will appeal to anyone who has ever gone on a job interview,” Burke said.

The Fosters will be back from their mid-season finale with new episodes on Monday, January 19 at 8 p.m. ET.
