'Sons of Anarchy' actors stay in costume for PSA

SOA BOOT CAMPAIGN

Sons of Anarchy fans will be seeing even more of Juice (Theo Rossi), Tig (Kim Coates), and Unser (Dayton Callie) during commercial breaks on FX and Fox Cable Networks.

The actors don their costumes for a new PSA on behalf of the Boot Campaign, a national nonprofit that encourages Americans to purchase and lace up a pair of signature military combat boots as a sign of support for those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. Fulfilling the Boot Campaign’s motto, “When They Come Back, We Give Back,” retail sales along with donations and corporate sponsorships fund six initiatives for military personnel past and present—including career transition, housing, education, wellness, urgent assistance, and family support.

Check out our first look at the 60-second spot, which features a nice touch of Tig humor, below.

Shot in Los Angeles in October, the 60-second spot and a shorter 30-second PSA were produced in partnership with writer/director Michael Goode and Mechaniks.

Members of the Sons of Anarchy cast have served as year-round spokespersons and advocates for the Boot Campaign since 2010.

The FX drama airs its penultimate episode Dec. 2, with the series finale following Dec. 9.
