Jon Stewart to appear on 'The O'Reilly Factor'

Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly’s cross-ideological relationship will continue Friday when Stewart, who is making the rounds to promote his film Rosewater, will appear on The O’Reilly Factor, EW confirmed.

Stewart and O’Reilly have appeared on each other’s programs before, and debated each other in 2012 in what was called The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium. O’Reilly appeared on The Daily Show in October and the two took on the subject of white privilege when O’Reilly was promoting Killing Patton.

When Rolling Stone asked whether there was “genuine affection” between Stewart and O’Reilly in a recent interview, Stewart said: “It’s more sexual tension than anything else.”

Stewart’s directorial debut, Rosewater, is about Maziar Bahari, a journalist who was arrested and interrogated in Iran on suspicion of being a spy.
