NBC’s a cappella competition, The Sing-Off, will return for a fifth season, EW has confirmed.

The show, from Sony Pictures Television and Mark Burnett’s One Three Media, will air as a holiday event. Casting is currently in progress.

The number of episodes and air date pattern is unknown at this time. Though, as a reference point, last season aired over seven, nonconsecutive nights.

The status of the host and judges is also unknown. Season four featured returning host Nick Lachey, and returning judges Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds, as well as newcomer Jewel, who replaced Sara Bareilles. It is unclear if they will return.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.

This post has been updated to reflect that The Sing-Off aired over seven, nonconsecutive nights, and that Nick Lachey was host in season four. EW regrets the errors.
