On the set of the Entertainment Weekly cover shoot for the Veronica Mars movie, the cast seemed to really enjoy one of the many reunions they’ll have thanks to their Kickstarter-funded film. Ryan Hansen (Dick) joked about making out with fans who came to the set. Chris Lowell (Piz) explained why he always knew a Mars movie would happen. And creator Rob Thomas blurted out one hell of a spoiler.
“Veronica dies,” the straight-faced Thomas said when asked to sum up the movie in one word. Not only did he break the single-word rule, but he blew our minds — OK, not really. He already told us last week that there’s a future to the VM franchise beyond the March 14 movie, and clearly that future needs to include the title character herself.
Watch our behind-the-scenes video below, which also includes Krysten Ritter (Gia), Tina Majorino (Mac), Percy Daggs III (Wallace), Francis Capra (Weevil), and Enrico Colantoni (Keith) on set.
