As we head into the holiday season, it’s time to cherish the final weeks before all of our favorite television shows go on their winter hiatuses. As much as it hurts to say goodbye, mid-season finales mark the (second) best — behind actual season finales, of course — time of the year for TV.

So this week is all about catching every possible mid-season finale that you can, and then running to the theater for a little Jennifer Lawrence-Bradley Cooper reunion.

All times listed are Eastern.

SUNDAY 12/08

Bonnie & Clyde, 9 p.m., simulcasted by A&E, Lifetime, and The History Channel

Emile Hirsch stars as Clyde Barrow and The Borgias‘ Holliday Grainger plays Bonnie Parker in this two-night miniseries about the ’30s crime couple.

MONDAY 12/09

Sleepy Hollow, 9 p.m., Fox

John Noble returns as Henry Parrish, who helps Ichabod contact Katrina. Long story short: They end up releasing a monster from purgatory. Or, if you’re not one for monsters, the episode will also tell us more about Ichabod’s recently revealed son.

OR

Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, 8 p.m. ABC

When it comes to getting in the holiday spirit, this classic story of the legend of Santa Claus, featuring the voices of Fred Astaire and Mickey Rooney, is the perfect ending to a long day. Bonus: Pair it with a nice cup of hot chocolate.

TUESDAY 12/10

American Country Awards, 8 p.m., Fox

Country fans won’t want to miss performances by Sara Evans, Sheryl Crow, Florida Georgia Line, and more. Did we mention it’s hosted by Trace Adkins and Danica Patrick?

OR

R. Kelly’s Black Panties hits shelves

So R. Kelly has a new album. And it’s called Black Panties.

WEDNESDAY 12/11

Arrow, 8 p.m., The CW

The mid-season finale of Arrow promises action, more Barry Allen, and a death. Basically, everything you could ask for. And if you’re watching Arrow, you might as well stick around for the mid-season finale of The Tomorrow People at 9 p.m. on The CW. Unless, of course, one shocking finale is all you can take in one night.

THURSDAY 12/12

Scandal, 10 p.m., ABC

Thursday night is the mid-season finale jackpot. From The Vampire Diaries to Grey’s Anatomy, Parenthood, Reign, and the always shocking Scandal, you can’t go wrong. However, Liv dealing with her father (and Sally dealing with her “sin”) is at the top of our list.

FRIDAY 12/13

American Hustle in theaters

David O. Russell’s newest film stars the likes of Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jeremy Renner. It’s the The FighterSilver Linings Playbook collision we’ve been waiting for.

SATURDAY 12/14

College Basketball, 5:15 p.m., ESPN

If you’re a fan of college basketball, this NCAA match-up between Kentucky and North Carolina is a must-see.

SUNDAY 12/15

Revenge, 9 p.m., ABC

Revenge‘s mid-season finale is all about Emily and Daniel’s wedding. And if we have learned anything, blood shed is never out of the question in The Hamptons … not even on a wedding day.
