Under the Dome, series premiere, 10 p.m., CBS

A mini-series to fill your summer TV watching void, Under the Dome, based on the novel by Stephen King, the “latest allegorical epic for these tumultuous, terrifying times,” according to Doc Jensen. It’ll probably make you cry, even if it’s just remembering that dog poster.

TUESDAY

Catfish: The TV Show, season premiere, 10 p.m., MTV

The show that will forever make you paranoid about online dating is back! At the end of every episode they show a set up tutorial for installing Skype.

WEDNESDAY

Big Brother, season premiere, 8 p.m., CBS

Given recent events, how do we all feel about still watching this show? Great? OK, well it comes back tonight.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee debuts new episode online

French actor Gad Elmaleh is the guest, and it’s a great remember that if you haven’t seen Priceless yet, it’s well worth a rental.

It’s the final reckoning for Dexter. Showrunner Scott Buck told EW of the final season, “It feels like the exact ending we should be doing.” He added, “Ideally it will make our audience sit back and see Dexter a little more clearly than before. It should absolutely make sense to everybody watching.”
