The newest Star Trek Into Darkness trailer is remarkably similar to the Man of Steel General Zod/Static trailer. Reconstituting various bits from other Into Darkness adverts, the video adds in Benedict Cumberbatch narrating a weird biographical poem about the life of Captain Kirk. “Life for him is one big adventure,” purrs maybe-Khan, “But he is alone. Born into battle. The heir to legend…AND I LOVE HIM.” Actually, he doesn’t say that last part. Anyhow, this looks menacing.
