American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey still haven’t resolved their differences, but they do seem to have found some common ground — fashion.
During a panel at yesterday’s TCA event, journalists asked the women about the altercation that occurred during Idol auditions in North Carolina last fall. Here’s the exchange that followed:
Minaj: “We’re professionals.”
Carey: “It was sort of one-sided.”
Minaj: “No, it wasn’t.”
Carey: “At least we can agree on my shoes.”
Speaking of shoes, both Carey and Minaj were wearing red-soled heels from red carpet favorite Christian Louboutin. Carey paired her green Lanvin frock with Louboutin’s fur-and-feathered “Pluminette” style, while Minaj opted for a pair of the brand’s strappy “Zoulou” platforms.
