Thriller lovers, get ready for an explosive debut. Like John Grisham’s The Firm, only set in the high-stakes world of Washington politics, The 500 by Matthew Quirk — who reported on crime and terrorism for The Atlantic — tells the action-packed story of a young Harvard grad battling his powerful but corrupt employers. Even though the book won’t be released until June 5, there’s quite a bit of advance buzz: The film rights have already been snatched up by 20th Century Fox. Check out the teaser below:
