Which TV shows should join 'Glee' and Coco on tour?

And I’m lucky that I logged on early enough to snag tickets to both — The tours have seen tickets sell out within minutes, forcing both to add more dates. Glee executive producer Ryan Murphy said at a PaleyFest panel for the show that they may add even more dates to meet demand! Wowza!

Though the popularity of the tours is overwhelming, Glee and Coco are hardly the first shows to take their acts on the road. In recent years, Family Guy and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia have staged live readings. One Tree Hill went on a concert tour with Bethany Joy Galeotti, who also sings on the show. And, of course, reality shows like Dancing With the Stars and American Idol also tour between seasons. But what other shows should join them? Here are a few I think should pack up their bags and hit the road:

How I Met Your Mother – How awesome would it be to see the show live in concert? Jason Segel could sing “You Just Got Slapped” and “Best Night Ever,” followed by Josh Radnor’s little superdate ditty from last week’s episode. But the main event, of course, would Robin Sparkles’ greatest hits. For the encore, Neil Patrick Harris and the gang could do “Nothing Suits Me Like a Suit.” And if you got there very early, you could hear The Foreskins play “Murder Train” to open the event. Also featuring: “Garbage Bag,” “Ted Mosby Is a Jerk” and “Hey Beautiful,” the show’s theme song.

Chuck – Once the How I Met Your Mother Live in Concert tour has finished taking the world by storm, Chuck‘s hilarious duo Jeffster needs to go on tour to help promote the show. They already proved at Comic-Con that they’re more than able to perform in front of large crowds and get fans excited.

Modern Family – This show definitely needs to take a cue from Family Guy and stage a live reading because nothing is better than seeing Eric Stonestreet go from guy’s guy to the excitable Cam.

Iron Chef America – Because I am dying to sit in the audience. It’s the next best thing to being a judge and getting to taste that delicious-looking food.

PopWatchers, would you buy tickets to these shows? What other TV program do you think should go on tour?
