Duff Enough

Now that young Hilary Duff is a bona fide pop-music star, it should only be a matter of minutes until she’s making out with Madonna. But for now, fans can still enjoy the fleeting innocence on display in her not-so-dirrty debut album, ”Metamorphosis” — which moved up to No. 1, thanks to a less severe second-week decline than Mary J. Blige’s. Duff did 131,000 in week 2, compared with 108,000 for last week’s leader, love & life. The soundtrack for Duff’s Lizzie McGuire movie is also showing serious stamina, at No. 15. Teen pop: It ain’t going anywhere, folks.
