Jennifer Garner reups with ''Alias'' for $150K per ep. New contract keeps Garner on as Sydney Bristow through 2008

Not only does ”Alias” star Jennifer Garner play a formidable agent, but she must have a pretty fierce agent of her own. ”Alias” hasn’t been a huge hit for ABC, but Garner has just landed a new contract that will keep her on the show for five more seasons. Not only that, but she’s expected to get a substantial raise, according to the Hollywood Reporter, nearly quadrupling her salary from what it was when the series launched two years ago.

Though the deal keeps Garner on ”Alias” through the show’s seventh season, it amounts to just a one-year extension for Garner, who was already bound to the series through the 2006-07 season. Her per-episode fee will reportedly jump to $150,000, nearly four times the $40,000 per episode she earned when she was an unknown two years ago. Since then, however, she’s won a Golden Globe for the role of Sydney Bristow and last month received a second Emmy nomination for the part. Critics and the show’s cult of fans love her, and her high-profile movie work may eventually draw more viewers to the series. Besides her big-screen role as Elektra in ”Daredevil” earlier this year (and in a likely 2005 movie spinoff), she recently finished shooting a ”Big”-like comedy called ”13 Going on 30” that comes out in early 2004.
