If playing like one long, over-the-top Kids in the Hall sketch is wrong, who’d want this movie — never released in the U.S. — to be right? Cowriter Foley is a corporate fool who thinks he’s wanted for murdering his boss when he merely happens to be on the same escape route as the killer. David Higgins does well as a detective so lazy he commandeers a motorized wheelchair, and Tilly nearly charms as Foley’s ”slightly narcoleptic” love. But the Barenaked Ladies as singing cops? Now someone’s just reaching.
