Movie Review: 'Highlander: Endgame'

The fourth time may not exactly be the charm, but it is, in the case of this third sequel to the 1986 cult smash, a guilty pleasure. The immortal Connor MacLeod (Lambert, uncharacteristically showing his age) is back and, with the help of his cousin Duncan (the television series��� Paul), he must face down an evil from the depths of his past. The filmmakers have gone out of their way to stock Endgame with familiar faces and stylistic touches from the first film — as well as a new, headier cut for the video release — but, really, nothing thrills like originality.
