Halle Berry explains what makes Warren Beatty charming

Halle Berry’s ”Why Do Fools Fall in Love” opens nationwide tomorrow. In the Warner Bros. biopic about singer Frankie Lyman (who topped the pop charts as a teenager with the title song and later died of a heroin overdose at age 26), Berry plays Platters’ vocalist Zola Taylor, Lyman’s rich, talented, and beautiful first wife. Acting as a famous man’s love interest isn’t new to Berry, who starred opposite legendary lothario Warren Beatty in ”Bulworth” earlier this year.

The 31-year-old actress tells EW Online what makes Beatty such a charming ladies man: ”He has the ability to make every woman feel like for the moment he is talking to you that you are the most important, the most beautiful, the most talented, the most sexy woman alive. That is a talent in and of itself.” As for Beatty’s reported fondness of HER beauty, Berry laughs, ”Well, you know, he loves anything in a skirt.”
