The first trailer for the shoot-'em-up period movie, debuted first exclusively by PEOPLE, introduces Rickards as the titular real-life legendary sharpshooter from the 19th century, and her former onscreen husband Amell rocking yet another questionable wig as Wild Bill Hickok, the love of her life. But just as in the final season of Arrow, Rickards' character is forced to deal with Amell's shocking death, as the movie begins with Wild Bill's murder.

Rocked with grief, Calamity Jane breaks out of prison and embarks on a dark journey of revenge to bring his killer down, as Deadwood's Sheriff Mason (Tim Rozon, Schitt’s Creek), trails her to try and detain and arrest her. Check out the trailer below:

Calamity Jane is directed by Terry Miles, and also stars Priscilla Faia, Gage Marsh, Garrett Black, Christian Sloan, Troy Mundle, and Spencer Borgeson. The movie premieres in theaters and digital on Feb. 2.

Seeing the two Arrow alums back together onscreen again is unexpected after Rickards sent shockwaves through the Arrowverse fandom when she announced that she was leaving the CW comic book drama at the end of its seventh season and would not be returning as a series regular in the final season. She eventually returned for an appearance in the series finale.

Initially introduced as a one-off minor character in the third episode of season 1, the overwhelming positive response from fans helped bump Felicity up into a main part of Team Arrow, and Rickards became a series regular on Arrow for seasons 2 through 7. The character eventually married Oliver Queen (Amell) and had two children with him.
