Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine invites the community to join us for a day of family fun and learning on our picturesque campus in Grafton, MA. This year we will be joined by Tufts University's 14th President Sunil Kumar, will be with us from 11:00a - 12:30p as part of his Inauguration week activities.

RAIN or SHINE.

• Go on a tractor ride through the fields around the campus.
• Visit the cow and sheep pastures to see our farm animals.
• Touch and take photos of farm equipment.
• Go inside our state-of-the-art anatomy lab to see plastination samples and large animal skeletons.
• Visit the Joseph Kelley, D.V.M. Simulation Lab to view and touch simulation animal models.
• Attend the Wingmasters: Birds of Prey with live birds (Varis Lecture Hall 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm).
• Stop by Phelps Field to see the Face to Face Disc Club dogs perform frisbee and agility demonstrations throughout the day.
• Head to the main tent to participate in hands-on learning activities, including horseshoe painting, pinecone bird feeders, and more about the Cummings School programs.
• Bring your stuffies to get their boo-boos bandaged at our teddy bear clinic.
• Stop by the SAVMA store table to pick-up some merch.
• Learn about Tufts PAWS for People program, a therapy animal program that provides education, evaluation and mentorship for individuals looking to do visits with their pet.
• Grab snacks at the Elm's Cafe food tent.

For the safety of the demonstration animals and all visitors, pets are not allowed on campus during the event. Service animals will continue to be welcome.

Tufts Wildlife Clinic, Henry and Lois Foster Hospital for Small Animals, and Hospital for Large Animal will only be open for scheduled appointments and emergencies and not part of the Open House event. 

Cummings School community members can sign-up to volunteer to help out during the event.
