Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Copywriter & Localization Manager to elevate our translations into all languages and implement a top-notch localization tool such as Crowdin. Additionally, this role will serve as our English lead copywriter, responsible for crafting engaging and effective copy for product/UX and marketing-related materials.

Responsibilities – What you will do

Copywriting & Localization:

• Lead English copywriting for product/UX and marketing content, ensuring alignment with brand voice.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive localization strategy with tools like Crowdin.
• Maintain consistency in tone and style across all languages and resolve localization and copywriting challenges autonomously.

Freelance Management:

• Build and manage a pool of freelance writers and translators, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
• Implement quality control processes and regularly update content based on user feedback and market trends.

Results-driven Collaboration:

• Integrate Crowdin with systems like APIs and GitLab in collaboration with the development team.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and development teams to align content with brand strategy and product goals.
• Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to inform content strategy and improvements.

Requirements – What you bring

• Native English speaker with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong understanding of localization processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in copywriting, content creation, and localization, preferably in the tech or dating app industry.
• Proficiency in CMS and tools like Crowdin with a proven track record in managing projects, including integrating localization tools with various systems.
• Highly proactive and autonomous with strong analytical skills and a natural problem-solving mindset.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the use of Artificial Intelligence in localization and copywriting is a plus.

📃 Permanent contract (40 hours / week) with flexible hours
