Junior Project Engineer (PV)

Taylor Hopkinson is looking for a Junior Project Engineer (PV) to join an important company in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• Apply technical knowledge and specialized skills to develop technical projects and detailed engineering solutions.
• Solve problems and providing technical support while ensuring that established quality standards are met and costs are optimized.
• Prepare technical-commercial proposals in close collaboration with the sales team to understand the needs and technical requirements of potential customers and create solutions that satisfy those needs.
• Design solar photovoltaic systems considering factors such as location, solar radiation, shading, and optimal panel orientation to meet clients’ electrical requirements.
• Evaluate technical and economic feasibility, assessing energy performance, investment costs, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee solar panel installation, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality assurance.
• Conduct performance tests and commissioning of solar PV systems, optimizing parameters for efficiency.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 2 years of experience specifically in solar photovoltaic system design and implementation, particularly focusing on self-consumption projects for B2B clients.
• Proficient in software tools including AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVsol, and Microsoft Office suite.
