Location: Madrid, Spain

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digitally centric acquisition and retention marketing strategies that are aligned with Ouro’s aggressive business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead the creation of brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of profitable, CAC efficient digital acquisition and retention multi-channel marketing campaigns, including SEM & SEO, app store demand generation and optimization, digital, social media, content and lifecycle marketing and, email., and events.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, assessing ROI and relevant KPIs (CAC, LTV, payback, etc.).
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Establish clear goals and performance metrics for the marketing team.
  • Ability to marry data, strategy, creative insights to deliver and execute against performance goals.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain customers, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize the customer journey.
  • Implement customer segmentation and, targeting strategiestargeting, and positioning strategies to enhance conversion and engagement.
  • Work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure alignment and support for customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Strengthen the Ouro’s brand presence and reputation in the fintech industry. Manage relationships with media, influencers, and other external stakeholders.
  • Oversee public relations efforts, including press releases, media kits, and speaking engagements.
  • Deliver comprehensive presentations to communicate strategy and results of omnichannel, full funnel advertising campaigns to stakeholders.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of innovative, best-in-class acquisition and retention initiatives to test lift through an analytical lens.
  • Ensure marketing systems, operations, and automation are functioning in unison with objectives and resources.
  • Source, vet, negotiate, and manage key partner relationships to expand initiative and explore efficiencies.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget in tandem with forecasting performance monthly, quarterly, and yearly to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track expenditures and optimize spending to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships and collaborations that enhance marketing efforts and drive growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Fintech experience is a strong plus; alternatively, experience in highly competitive subscription (eg: telco, wireless, cable, etc.) verticals. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital lifecycle (acquisition, conversion, retention, up- & cross sell, winback) marketing growth levers, SEO/SEM, content marketing, email and social media.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable and effective in a resource lean, ambiguous, fast paced environment where more needs to be done with less, and quickly.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Fluency in Spanish and proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics and LCM tools, specifically Appsflyer, Braze, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Qlik, MixPanel, Klipfolio, Figma, etc.
