About The Team

You will be part of a talented group of engineers enhancing and developing Core Wireless features for our 5GNR (including NTN), 5GNR Red-Cap, LTE, NB-IoT (including NTN) Test App toolset. Most of the development work is done in C# in a Microsoft Windows environment primarily using MS Visual Studio, WPF, Python, and other programming languages as the main toolsets.

Responsibilities

About the role:

This role requires good Software Development skills, as well as basic/medium Wireless protocol knowledge is desirable. Proven experience in developing Software components from Multi-site teams as well as debugging & troubleshooting complex hardware and software solutions are Key skillsets demanded in this role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Utilize the latest software development technologies and tools in a commercial environment, including C#, .NET8 framework, and Microsoft Visual Studio, to produce effective solutions.
• Engage with lower- and upper-layers teams for feature development, debugging, and troubleshooting issues, ensuring seamless collaboration across the board.
• Create and develop Automation test cases to uphold our high-quality standards.
• Make invaluable contributions to the future success of Keysight.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Engineering, Telecom, or Computer Science, or equivalent educational background.
• Professional work experience involving software development, systems implementation, and the ability to design/architect software solutions.
• Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages, with experience in multi-tier application design and development.
• Strong background in building enterprise-wide software solutions in multi-technology environments and a solid understanding of the impact of changes on the environment.
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
• Engage with lower- and upper-layer teams for new feature development.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, independently, and with high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills - ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. Proficiency in English is a must
  
  

Desired Qualification

• Experience working within Agile principles for software development.
• Previous experience in development work for test equipment manufacturers, mobile chipset manufacturers, network operators, or device makers is highly desirable
• Expertise in Wireless protocols, particularly 5G NR mainly focused on higher layers RRC, and a strong background in 3GPP NR5G/LTE stack.
• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and develop within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work across teams and geographies, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Pro-active problem solver, able to work to tight timescales and resolve conflicting priorities with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with WCF & gRPC, Python, and Json programming languages
