EXECUTIVE SEARCH DIRECTOR FOR HAYS SOUTHERN EUROPE

In this exciting context we are looking for a Director to lead the Executive Search Business Unit and position Hays as one of the top 5 players in Southern Europe within the C-level hiring segment.

1. Create/Develop a business unit.
   1. Define a business strategy for the unit, with a differentiated positioning and methodology that is consistent with our corporate values and culture
2. Select, develop and consolidate teams.
   1. Build and consolidate (according to cases and levels of development) an Executive Search team in each of the main cities of the region
   2. Select internally and externally, together with the Managing Directors of each country, the leaders for the Business Unit in each of these cities.
3. Influence internally to generate changes that lead to project success.
   1. Alongside internal partners (Marketing, Human Resources, Business Intelligence, etc.), establish the necessary strategic pillars to maximise impact on clients, candidates, employees, and other stakeholders.
   2. Generate internal influence strategies to support the evolution of business line differentiation.
4. ContributetoHays' leadership team for Southern Europe
   1. Be part of Hays' Management Committee for Southern Europe.
5. Establish influential collaborations and cooperation globally.
   1. Participate in developing the Executive Search segment strategy for Hays' European and Global structures.
   2. Forge internal alliances with other Hays regions to provide global service to our clients.
      
      

• We are looking for a person with more than 10 years of experience in the Executive Search industry, in recognized companies and multinational structures.
• Proven ability to lead senior, diverse, and remote teams.
• Experience in multinational environments with matrix structures and complex environments.
• Impactful communication skills and developed influence strategies.
• Leadership ability, strategic vision while setting an example in tasks.
• Proven commercial experience and customer orientation.
• Team player who empathizes with other Business Units and leans towards collaboration over competition.
• Flexibility to adapt to organizational needs.
• Persistence, determination, and self-confidence to achieve set strategic objectives.
• Fluent communication in English and one of the other three languages ​​of the region (Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish).
• Strong values, passion for people, diversity, and willingness to always make ethical decisions.
• Residence can be based in any Hays location in Southern Europe: Lisbon, Porto, Milano, Torion, Rome, Bolognia, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Valencia, Seville, or Zaragoza.
