The Role:


The Trade Marketing Manager IBERIA (TMMI), will be responsible for the management & support of the local implementation of the Marketing Plan, Trade Marketing initiatives & full Commercial Strategy for the whole portfolio in the territory of Spain (incl. Canaries) & Portugal. The TMMI will develop sales and marketing plans in the region, as well as follow the Brands’ Strategy Implementation in the Iberian region to achieve strategic & short and long-term strategic goals and supervise its full execution. The TMMI must have strong communication skills and an analytical mind to lead the business development across different markets.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze local trends for potential business opportunities.
  • Lead the definition of the region development strategy for the spirits portfolio.
  • Define and agree DVA KPIs by brand and by channel per each market.
  • Develop sales and marketing plans for the different markets.
  • To lead Marketing and Commercial teams to develop promotional plans by channel and by customer to support the business strategy.
  • To work with Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure delivery of Volume, Profit and NSV per case in line with targets.
  • To lead the evaluation and measurement of profitability and ROI of promotions, ensuring key insights and recommendations are communicated and discussed with HQ (Regional Manager and Marketing Team).
  • Constant presence in the field, travelling across the region, creating strong connection with Distributors’ teams.
  • To lead and to control budget expenditure, AP submission and invoices reconciliation.
  • Monthly/QBR reporting to HQ, with weekly updates.
  • Based in Madrid (Spain) in our distributor’s office, frequent travelling to different regions of Spain and the islands, Portugal and the head office in Italy will be necessary.


Requirements:


  • 5 or more years in the FMCG sector
  • Wine/Spirits enthusiast
  • Excellent Spanish and English (Italian speaking a plus)
