Telefonica and the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) have launched e-Tico , a new care model for oncology patients based on telemedicine, an innovation with the aim of improving the quality of life of patients with cancer . This project, based on Telefonica's platform will allow ICO professionals to monitor their patients for a period of five to six months during chemotherapy and radiation treatments, improving their quality of life and in parallel decreasing admissions and emergencies

Quiron Salud, the biggest hospital group in Spain with more than 40 hospitals and 35 clinics, trusts in Telefónica to outsource their IT infraestructure and workplace management, including a new model to manage the Medical Image Service for the whole group.

Deployment of all the technologies and information systems to manage and control the Blood and Tissues Bank, including the evolution to control Stem Cells for oncology and hematology purposes.

FutureClinic is the first regional project to develop Genomic algorithms for oncological pathologies.

FutureClinic has been developed in cooperation with the regional Healthcare Service in Valencia and its objective is to develop and evaluate genomic processing algorithms using HPC systems and integrate the results with patients' HER, so GPs and physicians could use it to decide treatments and prevention plans.

DERCAM is the first Tele-dermatology project deployed at Regional level (not a pilot).

Design, development and deployment of a whole Tele-dermatology solution for PrimaryCare and Specialists in the Regional Healthcare Service in Castilla La Mancha (SESCAM)

Deployed in more than 50 Primary Care centers and in 18 Hospital in the whole region.
