🚨 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: Patients with B-cell #lymphoma who relapse after two lines of treatment can be treated with chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy (CAR-T); however, a significant number of patients continue to progress or relapse after treatment. 💡 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Using QP-Insights in this multicenter retrospective study, we developed advanced image-based prognostic and #predictivemodels using logistic regression and Cox proportional hazards models to predict response to CAR-T therapy at 3 and 6 months, overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS) and the occurrence of neurotoxicity (ICANS). ✅ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: The models combining clinical and imaging features significantly improved prediction accuracy compared to using clinical or imaging features alone and offer a promising tool for risk stratification and personalized treatment, potentially improving patient outcomes. 👉 Read our latest case study "Enhanced predictive models for B-Cell lymphoma patients undergoing CAR-T therapy" on our website: https://bit.ly/3W4sCtV #HealthInnovation #MedicalImaging

💻 Have you ever noticed a degradation in the performance of your #AI models? This can be a frequently asked question, and our latest blog focuses on one of AI's greatest challenges: model drift. Model drift refers to the decline in predictive power over time due to changes in #data. In this article, Jose Munuera discusses supervised and unsupervised methods to detect drift, from statistical tests to uncertainty-based approaches, or analyzes essential steps to mitigate drift, such as model retraining and performance tuning. 🗣️ "With the integration of this technology into our diagnostic process, we are taking a significant step forward in addressing #prostatecancer, which is the most prevalent and the third highest in mortality rates among the male population. The use of artificial intelligence tools in radiology is already a reality, and in the context of prostate cancer, it is enabling us to optimize our workflows", Dr. Javier Blázquez Sánchez from Servicio de Radiología Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal. Hospital Ramón y Cajal has recently incorporated Quibim’s QP-Prostate technology into their diagnostic protocols for prostate cancer, achieving improved diagnostic accuracy and more efficient operations, ultimately leading to better clinical outcomes and #patientcare. #Radiology #AIinHealthcare #MedicalInnovation https://lnkd.in/d2KTvJue
