Prosur recibe el premio a la «Innovación y Desarrollo Tecnológico» de la Cámara de Comercio de Murcia. El pasado jueves 6 de junio recibimos el premio durante la tradicional «Noche de la Economía Murciana». El acto fue celebrado en la Finca Buenavista con representantes del mundo empresarial, social y político de la región, entre ellos el Presidente de la Región de Murcia, Fernando López Miras. Nuestro Director Global de Investigación y Desarrollo, el Dr. Isidro Guillén López, recibió el premio de manos de Josep Oliu, presidente del Banco Sabadell (patrocinador de esta edición de los premios) y la Tesorera de la Cámara, Begoña García Riera. Además de nosotros, la UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (Expansión Internacional), Luis Miguel Pastelerías (Comercio Selecto), Pinatar Arena Football Center SL (Desarrollo Turístico), y José Jiménez y Encarna Godoy, de Grupo Jiménez Godoy S.A. (Trayectoria Profesional) también fueron premiados por su singular labor. Pero no sólo las empresas galardonadas tuvieron motivos de celebración, sino también la propia Cámara de Comercio. ¡Felicidades por el 125 aniversario! The ceremony was held at Finca Buenavista with representatives from the region's business, social, and political circles, including the President of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras. Josep Oliu, President of Banco Sabadell, the sponsor of this year's award ceremony, and the Treasurer of the Murcia Chamber of Commerce, Begoña García Riera handed the trophy to our Head of Global R&D, Dr. Isidro Guillén López. Alongside us were the Universidad Católica (International Expansion), Luis Miguel Pastelerías (Select Trade), Pinatar Arena (Touristic Development) and José Jiménez and Encarna Godoy from Grupo Jiménez Godoy (Carrer Path), who were recognized for their outstanding work. But not only did the award-winning companies have reasons to celebrate, but also the Chamber of Commerce itself. Congratulations on the 125th anniversary! Thank you all very much for your trust in Prosur, congratulations to the Murcia Chamber of Commerce for organizing such a special night, and again congratulations to all the award-winning companies. This week we had an exciting visit from the USA. We had the honor of welcoming students and professors from Texas Tech University to Murcia. The visit was entirely dedicated to #FutureOfFood & #MethodologyMatters. After the welcome and introduction to the Prosur world by Simon Claessens, Emma Harriman and Christine Alvarado, we got straight down to business... Divided into two groups of four, the participants alternated between theoretical and practical workshops in our Research Center and Innovation Plant organized by our Global R&D Director, Dr. Isidro Guillén López. Dr. Pascuali Vizcaíno Milla introduced the students to the development of our products and gave a detailed presentation on methodology and analysis, while Dr. Carmen Ortuno focused on the practical side. In our Pilot Plant, the "Red Raiders" got involved and produced meat and sausage products with our Get-It-Natural technology. A Big Thanks to Mindy Brashears, Mark Miller & Alejandro Echeverry for introducing us to the future food leaders from #TexasTech and coordinating everything from your side.
