    Today we held our Annual General Meeting, where our Chief Executive Officer reported the figures and announced a strong performance in the first quarter of 2024, with increases in occupancy, average daily rate (ADR) and revenue. First quarter revenues amounted to EUR 460 million, representing a growth of 13% compared to Q1 2023. At this meeting, held this morning in Madrid, CEO Ramón Aragonés updated attendees on the company's results between January and March 2024, when occupancy increased two percentage points to 62%; ADR rose six euros, from 115 to 121 euros. The CEO also gave an overview of the group's performance in 2023, a year in which it outperformed all of its 2019 metrics, the last full year before the pandemic. Last year's revenues amounted to €2.16bn, up 23% on 2022 and 26% above the 2019 figure. Ramón Aragonés reported that the company plans to continue growing in all segments, with a focus on its high-end brands. Of the new openings that the global company has planned for the end of 2026, more than 50 hotels will be located in Europe, to which other establishments in the Americas will be added. These new openings will include additions to the Anantara, Tivoli and NH Collection brands, under a mix of management agreements and flexible leases, both fixed and variable.

    The Olympics are there and we are also getting awarded at Minor Hotels.   "The Maxies Family Club" – the most recent project dedicated to families has won GOLD in the Branding category at the Lusophone Creativity Awards, in collaboration with KOBU Agency!   The Opportunity: to develop a new brand identity for a family club that seamlessly integrates with three of our brands - NH Hotels & Resorts, NH Collection Hotels & Resorts, and nhow Hotels & Resorts –, to be present throughout the guests’ experience touchpoints.   🔍 The Challenge: Create a concept that is applicable to both urban and resorts properties with their respective customer journey touchpoints, that can also be representative of a dynamic family experience beyond just children's activities and, at the same time, having a positive social impact.   💡 The Solution: We created an imaginary universe of ever-changing spaces - evoking a sense of relaxation, wonder, fun, learning, continuous discovery, and unity – that are not simple sketches but rather an integrated ‘design system’. This design system is adaptable to each brand identity, to each physical and cultural context and reflects today’s families’ contexts.
