MANGO es una multinacional de prestigio internacional dedicada al diseño, la fabricación y la comercialización de prendas de vestir y complementos para mujer, hombre y niño/a. La firma cuenta con más de 15.000 empleados, 2.200 de los cuales trabajan en el Hangar Design Center y en la sede de Palau-solità i Plegamans (Barcelona). Más allá de las cifras hay un equipo joven y entusiasta con una media de edad entorno a los 29 años y formado en un 79% por mujeres. El Hangar Design Center, el centro de diseño más grande de Europa, cuenta con una superficie de 12.000 m2 que acoge a más de 700 profesionales dedicados a la creación de moda y complementos. En él se encuentran las áreas de diseño, compras y calidad. La sede central ocupa una superficie de 153.000 m2 y alberga una estructura propia que comprende las áreas de Imagen y Publicidad, Gestión Inmobiliaria, Expansión, Control de Producción y Distribución a los puntos de venta, Arquitectura e Interiorismo de las tiendas, así como Logística, Administración y Sistemas de Información. Actualmente, MANGO cuenta con más de 2.200 puntos de venta en 118 países a lo largo del mundo. Las claves de nuestro éxito pueden resumirse en tres puntos: Concepto, Equipo y Sistema Logístico.

    We move forward with our expansion plan and strengthen our presence in the United Kingdom with a new store in Scotland, as part of the 20 store openings planned for the country for 2024. Specifically, in Edinburgh's Fort Kinnarid shopping centre. The new point of sale offers the Woman line exclusively and features the Mediterranean-inspired store concept, New Med, which showcases the brand’s spirit and freshness.     We have been present in the UK since 1999. Last year we opened more than 10 stores in the country and ended with 60 points of sale, as well as a digital presence.     #Mango #Corporate #Expansion

    We boost our youth line Mango Teen with its international expansion. Three years after its launch, we open our youth line first stand-alone store outside the Spanish market, in the United Kingdom. Specifically, in London, at Foubert’s Place, off Carnaby Street in Soho, one of the most vibrant districts in the city centre. The store, with a selling surface of 230 m2 , features the Mediterranean-inspired New Med concept, which embodies the spirit and freshness of the brand. Mango Teen launched in 2021 to satisfy the fashion needs between childhood and adulthood, presenting attractive alternatives for young people. The line fills an existing gap in the market with current, fresh and youthful designs, setting the pace for contemporary young fashion. #Mango #Corporate #Expansion

    We continue strengthening our presence in the United States with a new store in Tysons Corner Center, Virginia's premier shopping destination.    The new point of sale stocks products from our Woman line exclusively and features the Mediterranean-inspired store concept, New Med, which showcases our brand’s spirit and freshness.     Mango has been an innovative company since our origins. In line with this innovative vocation, in 2022 we launched Mango Startup Studio, our fashion start-up accelerator, with which we seek companies and ideas at the development phase to make seed capital investments that will bring innovation to the fashion industry's value chain and improve the customer experience. As part of our commitment to innovation, we recently took part in the thirteenth edition of South Summit, the global entrepreneurship event that brought together entrepreneurs, corporations, and start-ups in Madrid. From Mango StartUp Studio, we were part of the round table "New ideas for the future of fashion" along with UNION AVATARS, Hoop Carpool and flipflow.     Understanding our impact on the environment today is more important than ever and at Mango we want to contribute to positive changes that will help ensure a more sustainable future for all. In line with this goal, we are committed to relearning, connecting, collaborating and better understanding the importance of achieving our sustainability goals for 2030. We recently celebrated the end of the Ecodesign Fashion Training program with a diploma ceremony. Over 250 employees from our Design, Buying, Quality and Trends teams finished the program, which totals more than 8,000 hours of training in areas such as recycling processes, the latest developments in more sustainable materials and fibres, certifications and labelling and the application of circularity criteria in the design of collections. The course has been developed with the collaboration of the Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda de Madrid (CSDMM), affiliated with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). The agreement was formalized by key representatives from Mango and CSDMM-UPM, underscoring our commitment to building strong academic alliances, attracting and retaining talent, and advancing our sustainability roadmap.     We continue our expansion and brand consolidation plan in Italy with the refurbishment of our flagship store in Galleria del Corso, in the historic center of Milan. The store, with a selling surface of more than 2,200m2 and product of the Woman, Man and Kids lines, now features the retail concept New Med, which reflects the spirit and freshness of our brand.    This renovation is part of our expansion plan in Italy, which aims to open fifteen stores this year bringing our total store network in the country to over 100. The expansion is mainly on central and southern Italy, focusing on the capital, as well as large northern cities such as Bologna, Genoa and Verona.      We have been present in Italy since 2001.     We make progress in the growth of our youth line Mango Teen with a new store in Barcelona, in Passeig de Gràcia, 65, where our founder Isak Andic opened the first Mango store in 1984. The premises, which until now offered Mango Woman, have been converted to house a new store exclusively for the youth line bringing the offer of all our lines (Woman, Man, Kids, Teen and Home) to the main commercial street of Barcelona.    The new store has more than 400m2 of sales area and more than 15 employees. It also incorporates the Mediterranean-inspired New Med retail concept, which embodies the spirit and freshness of the brand.     We launched Mango Teen in 2021 with the aim of satisfying the fashion needs between childhood and adulthood, presenting attractive alternatives for young people with current, fresh and youthful designs.    #Mango #Corporate #Expansion

    Innovation is part of our DNA and has always been a key pillar for Mango. In line with this commitment, this week we participated in the event “Innovative Barcelona 2030: keys to successful entrepreneurship”, a forum organised by Expansión. Elena Carasso, our Chief Online and Customer Officer took part in the round table “Barcelona as a destination for investment in start-ups and innovative Hubs: opportunities and challenges”, a forum in which she highlighted the key role played by technology and innovation in the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
