Special thank to our parent consultants who got this wonderful resource started:

Heather McCauley is the mother of 3 school age children.  Currently, she is working as a Parent Consultant for the EnvisionIT curriculum at the Nisonger Center at the Ohio State University.  Part of their job is to get input from schools and specifically,  parents to address transition concerns and resources.  Heather is excited to have the opportunity to work with the parents in your community!  Since, she has children with disabilities and she feels passionate about getting input from parents and/or mentors so that we can best meet their special and unique needs.

Marie Crawford is a mother of 3 sons all who have learning difficulties. For the past several years, Marie has been a Parent Advocate/Consultant. She states that “Transitions are always an adventure.  But the most challenging is transitioning from high school to college and or a career.”  Each of her sons has had different challenges and the process is always a little different and the outcomes can come in different forms.  She hopes she can make this process a little easier for you and your student!
