Description
Română: Atacul de la Smîrdan, ulei pe pânză; lemn; bronz aurit, 295×388 cm, nr.inv. 131525 - Muzeul Naţional de Istorie a României - BUCUREŞTI. Este redat un atac impetuos al infanteriei române împotriva redutei otomane de la Smârdan. Scenă de o impresionantă forţă expresivă asupra vigoarei şi elanului ostăşesc ridicate la proporţii de sinteză de către autorul picturii. Tabloul este înrămat cu o ramă din lemn vopsită cu bronz aurit. Este semnat şi datat în partea stângă jos cu roşu.
