The Preseason Predictions Game invites the participants to make ten "bold predictions" for the upcoming season. The scoring is based on how likely the listeners feel each prediction is. If the listener vote establishes a prediction as having X% likelihood, then the prediction earns 100-X points if it comes true and loses X points if it fails to materialize.
The Preseason Predictions Game was created by Chris Hanel, who also serves as judge and scorekeeper. When Chris saw that Ben Lindbergh had picked "Daniel Vogelbach steals a base", he was pleased that the participants understood the assignment.
