Supportive measures that are reasonable and appropriate may be considered and implemented at any time without fee or charge. These measures are not disciplinary and may not unreasonably burden another party. A few examples of supportive measures are:
- Course-related extensions and adjustments
- University-issued and enforced Mutual Contact Restrictions (MCR)
- Work and/or course schedule adjustments
- Changes in housing, seating, or work locations
- Leaves of absence
- Increased monitoring of certain areas of the campus

It is important to know that you do not have to file a formal complaint, participate in an investigative process, or make a report to a law enforcement agency to receive supportive measures.
