Nifty on Thursday ended flat but formed an Inside Bar candle on the daily chart and found support at 10-day EMA. Having bounced back from this support in two sessions, the odds of upside bounce is likely in the short term, chartists say.
The underlying trend of Nifty remains choppy with positive bias. A sustainable move above 24500 levels is expected to open the next upside targets of 24900 levels in the near term. Immediate support is at 24150, Nagaraj Shetti of HDFC Securities said.
Open Interest (OI) data showed that on the call side, the highest OI was observed at 24,800 and 25,000 strike prices, while on the put side, the highest OI was at 24,000 strike price.

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd reported a 23% decline in sale bookings for the first quarter of this fiscal year, totaling Rs 3,029.5 crore, due to lower volumes from delayed new project launches. In comparison, the company had sale bookings of Rs 3,914.7 crore in the same period last year. According to a regulatory filing, Prestige Estates sold 2.86 million square feet from April to June, down from 3.83 million square feet in the corresponding period of the previous year.
